About Bobby G Berney

Raised on the Louisiana Hayride and the view from a caboose.

Born in Shreveport and raised nearby in Blanchard, Bobby's music grew from Deep South family roots, the Ouachita Mountains, Hank Williams Sr., and The Beatles.

For twenty years he worked as a railroad brakeman, watching farms, factories, small towns, and the poor side of the tracks pass outside locomotive and caboose windows. Those unseen views became the people, places, and details inside his songs.

Weekend @ Berney's carries that same spirit forward: sit down, listen closely, and let musicians tell the story in their own words.
